17 Hours Until Take Off

We are 17 hours until take off for our first trip to our new home outside of Seattle, WA. My parents are not real excited about 6 hours on an airplane with me and mommy is real nervous about the 3 hours we are gaining. If you think I look nervous you should see my parents. I did grant mommy her request for a massive poop blow out today. She's hoping to prevent the same situation tomorrow.

West Coast here I come......Hopefully, I'll grow teeth so I can eat granola and play hackey sack.

Eating Solids

Mommy introducing me to an ancient form of torture.....the Bumbo chair w/feeding tray.

Clean up crew.

"Bring on the pizza and beer!"

I don't understand why they don't just pour the cereal on the tray and let me be. That's pretty much how daddy eats.

Here is my first experience with solid foods. I thought the cereal was ok but the Bumbo chair stinks. Someone please explain to my parents the need for a high chair. Seriously, is the economy so bad I have to eat on the floor with the 4 legged freaks.

Update

Can someone please talk my parents into cutting my hair............please?

Mommy (child of the 80's) thought it would be funny to style my hair like Billy Idol. Note my face, I don't find it that funny.

Chillin with Uncle John, best cook in North Carolina.

Aunt Fran and I. Look no tears!

Aunt Fran, Cousin Natalie and I. Can you see that the giant head comes from daddy's side.

So, I've been away for awhile and I apologize. My parents are starting to go into moving mode. Yes, we are just a little over a month away from my second move. We'll be heading to the great northwest to Ft. Lewis, WA. I don't really have a clue what any of that means nor do I really care. I just hope they remember to pack me. I saw the pediatrician early in January my current weight was 15lb 13.8 oz and I was 26.25in. I'm in the 75% for weight and 90% of height. Mommy is frustrated at her inability to find socks that fit my long feet. In daddy news, he was quite excited to here that I am "very blessed" in the little boy area. He managed to tell everyone living in the state of Virginia I think. The last week in January my parents explained to me I would be trying solid food. I'm thinking pizza, since that is what I see them eating. No such luck, I got a bowl full of white mush called rice cereal. All I have to say is, bring on the real chow. I am also working on my ab muscles. Everday I practice sitting up. I'm not quite there yet but I'm getting close. Mommy on the other hand has a ways to go with her ab muscles.

After a busy month of travel in December we decided to stay close to home in January. We did take a short road trip to see Aunt Fran, Uncle John, and cousin Natalie in North Carolina. Next week we head off on the airplane again to Seattle, WA. For those of you counting I will have been on 10 airplanes before I hit 6 months old.
