Catch Me if You Can....

Mama and I at the Christmas tree farm. Picking out the perfect tree. We are thankful for our great neighbors Hope and Chad that help us get it cut down and put in the tree stand.

Drinking and driving.

The night before daddy left to go back to Afghanistan.

Look who the ape is now....sucker.

Sporting my Christmas best for the battallion Christmas party.

Sorry for the months away from blogging but mom's had a hard time keeping up with me since I became mobile. I hear her talking to her friends about how exhausted she is at the end of the day. Maybe if she went to bed at 7:30 like I do she wouldn't feel so tired. Anyway, just to catch you up on what's going on at the Olver's......

-Dad came home for 2 weeks of R&R at Christmas. I'd like to tell you I went running to him the minute he walked off the plane but it took me a few hours to warm up. Once I did it was daddy and I against the world. As of today he has about 4 months left until he comes home. Mommy says it can't come fast enough.

-I am getting to be a big guy. I'm thinking about walking on with the Seahawks next season. As of my 18 month check up I am 29.75lbs. Mommy neglected to write down my height but trust me I am tall. These days I like any kind of ball to play with, I eat crayons, and I love to harass Chompers. I love to get outside and run my brains out.

-For everyone wanting to know how smart I am.....I can say lots of words like Thank you, please, help, snack, cars, puppy, bubbles, balloon, milk, mama, dadda, and others. I love to help mommy throw things in the trash and then I like to fish them out. When mama says go outside, I run to the door. When she says dinner, I run to the high chair. I got this thing down pat. Depending on the day I am a pretty good eater, obviously. I am not crazy about green vegtables except peas. Here are some catch up photos from the holidays.

2 Hours to a Pumpkin Farm????

Fall is definitely in the air in Washington state. Actually, mama says its more like winter. She even wears long pants at night. I keep trying to tell her that 40 degrees is too cold for flip flops and shorts but she's stubborn.
In honor of the Halloween season mama and Mrs. Quinn decided to pack up me, the 7 & 13mo old Quinn girls, a mother in law and a very pregnant Mrs. Quinn and drive 2.5 hours to a pumpkin farm in Portland, OR. If you are interested, there is actually a lovely pumpkin farm 10 mins from our house in Olympia. Only the best for us, we went to the Roloff Farm which is featured on the TLC program Little People Big World. It was a lot of fun but I'm still curious as to why we are the only house in the neighborhood without a pumpkin. Seriously, even the mormon neighbors have their Halloween decorations up. Come on mama, get it together!

Me playing in the "play at your own risk area." I have high quality parents.

Look at me racing around to find the perfect pumpkin. Did we buy one....no.

Mommy and I demonstrating the big chair.

Me eating a piece of rotted pumpkin found on the ground.

Me getting E Coli in the petting zoo.

Breaker Breaker 1, 2 Coming In

I was unable to pull myself away from the truck long enough to drink my milk.

My Grandma Chris and Grandpa Mark got me a new truck for my birthday. Here is some video of me enjoying my new truck. Notice the red bone I almost run over in the video. I later hid the bone in the back of the truck along with a plastic baseball bat. Mommy blamed Chompers for eating the bat until she finally found where I put it. This is a common occurence in our house. I've decided its kind of a fun game.

I'm Walking!

I'm going to get myself a little out of order but I know this is the news everyone has been waiting to hear. I am walking! I started taking a few steps while I was in Atlanta and I'm getting better everyday. Take a look at my video. I'm practicing so I can run to greet my daddy when he comes home for R&R in December.

Happy Birthday To Me!

What a lucky guy I am! I had my Washington birthday party with all my special friends today. We had pizza and birthday cake then got to play for hours. Ok so I cried for the first hour but by the end of the day I was having a good time. We really are blessed to have the great neighbors and friends that take care of mommy and I while daddy is gone. Here are a few pics from my big day.

Baby Kendall taking the birthday party in stride.

My girlfriend Chloe and I throwing/eating rocks together. Her aim is much better than mine.

Can I interest anyone in a piece?
